Great for everyday life
- Finding the right bus or train, and knowing when the next one leaves.
- Walking a new route with spoken turn-by-turn, phone in your pocket.
- Getting oriented before you move: which way am I facing?
- Reading the map when glare or low vision makes standard maps hard.
- Finding the entrance the last few steps with a sound beacon.
- Keeping your directions when you lose signal underground or in a dead zone.
What Waymere does
- Get directions your way: walk, take transit, or drive with turn-by-turn guidance that’s spoken aloud and buzzed as haptics, so you don’t have to watch the screen.
- Compare transit: see multiple routes ranked, plan by departure or arrival time, and check real-time departures so you’re not guessing.
- Explore and get oriented: Explore mode with a live compass, Nearby places, and Look Around landmarks that describe what’s around you.
- Find the door: a sound beacon guides your last few steps; it speeds up and rises in pitch as you get closer.
- Read the map your way: High-Contrast, Dark, and Light themes with big, bold type and bright roads.
- Keep going offline: save a route and it keeps guiding you turn-by-turn even without a connection.
- In your language: translate place names, steps, and spoken announcements into your language.
- On your wrist: an Apple Watch companion with a big glanceable cue and per-turn haptics.

Is Waymere free?
Yes. Core navigation, including walking directions with spoken turn-by-turn, Explore mode, Nearby places, Look Around landmarks, the sound beacon, and saved routes that keep guiding without a connection, is free. Standard adds multi-route transit comparison, departure and arrival-time planning, and driving routes with live traffic. Premium adds real-time departure boards, Park and Ride, the AI assistant, and construction alerts. Family shares Premium with up to 6 people. The Novara Suite bundles Waymere with Perceptius in one plan.
Do I need an account?
No. Waymere works fully as a guest. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only syncs your saved places and routes across your devices.
Do I have to look at the screen?
No. Waymere speaks each turn and stop out loud and buzzes distinct haptics, so you can navigate with the phone in your pocket or the screen locked. With VoiceOver on, navigation opens to a turn-by-turn list rather than a map.
Does it work with VoiceOver?
Yes, VoiceOver is supported throughout. When VoiceOver is running, the navigation screen leads with the step-by-step directions (with a button to show the map), and place lists, headings, and controls are labeled for the rotor.
Does it work without a signal?
Yes. Start or Save a route while you have a connection, and Waymere keeps guiding you turn-by-turn even if you lose signal, because the route is fetched once and stays navigable. (Live ETA and real-time departures need a connection.)
What is the difference between the plans?
Free covers walking and basic directions, Explore, Nearby, Look Around, the sound beacon, and saved offline routes. Standard adds comparing multiple transit routes, planning by departure or arrival time, driving with live traffic, and in-app translation. Premium adds real-time departures, Park and Ride, the AI assistant, and construction and closure alerts. Family is Premium for up to 6. The Novara Suite is Waymere and Perceptius together.
What is the AI assistant?
A Premium feature that answers questions about places and trips in plain language, for example details about a landmark or help planning a route. Your questions are sent to a secure AI service only when you ask.
What languages does Waymere support?
The app interface is available in 16 languages. With Standard and above, in-app translation can also translate place names, landmark descriptions, turn-by-turn announcements, and trip details into your chosen language.
Where does transit work?
Transit routing and stop info depend on the transit agency’s open data for your area, provided through our mapping partners. Coverage is broad in major metro areas; real-time departures (Premium) depend on the agency publishing live data.
What is Park and Ride?
A Premium planner that combines driving and transit: it finds a station you can drive to, then continues your trip by transit, useful when a full transit trip is impractical.
What is the sound beacon?
An audio-and-haptic homing guide for the last few steps to your destination. The sound speeds up and rises as you get closer, so you can find an entrance without reading the screen.
Does Waymere work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The optional Apple Watch companion mirrors navigation with a large glanceable cue, per-turn haptics, and spoken guidance on your wrist, configured from your iPhone.
Is my location private?
Your location is used only to guide you, and is sent to our mapping provider to calculate routes in real time. Waymere has no ads and no tracking, does not sell your data, and works on-device where possible. Sign-in is optional. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use Waymere while I am driving?
No. Waymere is an assistive aid, not for use by the driver of a moving vehicle. If you are driving, pull over first. Never let the app distract you from the road or your surroundings.
How is the Novara Suite or Family Sharing set up?
The Novara Suite unlocks both Waymere and Perceptius from one subscription; buying it in either app unlocks the other on your device. Family plans (Waymere Family and Suite Family) are shareable with up to 6 people via Apple Family Sharing.
What devices do I need?
An iPhone running a recent version of iOS. Waymere also works on iPad, and the Apple Watch companion is optional. An internet connection is needed to fetch routes and live data; saved routes keep guiding offline.
How do I get help?
In the app: Settings, then Give Feedback. Or email support@novaracg.com.
Waymere is a product of Auxentia, a brand of Novara Consulting Group, LLC.
